Three Events, Two Honors: A Birthday Program, A Scholarship Launch, A Poetry Book Launch, Two Honors Revealed, Set In July.

 Donald Lyles will do a three event, two state honors program on the fourth Saturday in July.

 The three events will be a late birthday affair, the launch of a poetry book and an endowed scholarship as well as receiving two state honors: becoming an Arkansas Traveler-Goodwill Ambassador and being appointed a commander in the Texas Navy Associatio, I am honored to be working with the Texas Navy Association to inform the public of the work the Texas Navy Association from 1835 to 1846, " Lyles said. " There are lost treasures and trying to find and recover a ship that was drowned by Mexico soldiers. In addition, the Texas Navy is seeking memontoes-artifacts for a museum."

First on the program will be the launch of my second book, a poetry collection entitled "Published And Selected Poems: 1964 To 2018." Secondly there is my scholarship that is administered by Prairie View A&M University. "So many students need a helping with fees, book along with the tuition per month. The Lyles Endowed Scholarship is doing its part in a small way to help needy students. It has been noted that after a student pay for fees, books and other required items, the student may not have enoigh to buy food..."
